Carers and Safeguarding Questionnaire

We want to improve the support we provide for carers, ensuring that they – and those they care for – remain safe from harm or abuse.

Ladies Only Swimming

Ladies only swimming
At Synergy Fitness @Calthorpe Academy
Every Thursday Between 4pm-6pm
¨ Wheelchair users £10 per 2 hour session
¨ Non-wheelchair users £4 per hour
Each swimmer can have two female carers
swimming with them (at no cost)
Age 5+
Children under the age of 16 must be
supported by parent/carer

There will be a range of sports on offer from the Sports Team including Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball and Inclusive sports. Plus Archery, Fencing and a mobile Climbing Wall run by Edgbaston Watersports. Many of these sports are accessible for wheelchair users.


For more information and to select your activities, please complete and return the consent form when purchasing your ticket(s) (available from The Midland Mencap Hubs of Head office). For safety reasons those that do not return their consent form will be unable to take part in the sports run by Edgbaston watersports.


Please remember sports clothes, training shoes, packed lunch and lots to drink.
